  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips or dark chocolate

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat and Prepare
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Step 2: Cream Butter and Sugars
  4. Beat together unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
